McLeod Law Group secures combined verdicts exceeding $11,300,000 for clients injured by postal driver’s negligence.
Following a recent weeklong consolidated FTCA trial against the federal government, McLeod Law Group’s John Hudson obtained judgments of $3,954,705 and $7,496,435 on behalf of two clients, each of whom was violently ejected from his motorcycle upon colliding with a rural mail carrier’s vehicle on Highway 701 outside of Conway, South Carolina. Each client sustained significant bodily injuries, including a closed head injury for one, an open-book pelvic fracture for the other, and severe emotional and psychological injuries as a result of the catastrophic crash. Each client’s work career was also shortened due to the severity of the injuries sustained, and John was able to secure comprehensive lost wage and lost future earning capacity damages on behalf of each to account for these critical losses. John’s clients were awarded non-economic damages of $3,000,000 and $6,000,000, respectively, for their injuries.
